REMAGG at Honiton Show: Showcasing What Waste Can Become

We had a fantastic day exhibiting at the Honiton Agricultural Show, showcasing our REMAGG range of recycled aggregates and manufactured topsoil - and enjoying the Devon sunshine while we were at it.

The show gave us a great opportunity to meet local businesses, contractors and members of the community, talk about what we do and, most importantly, let people see and feel the finished products for themselves.

From waste soil to a quality recycled product

One of the things we wanted to demonstrate at Honiton Show was just what waste materials can become when they are managed and treated properly.

Our REMAGG products are manufactured at UK Remediation’s Soil Treatment Facility in Exeter, where suitable waste soils and materials are processed, washed and transformed into high-quality recycled products ready to go back into use.

Instead of valuable material being disposed of, we can recover it and give it another purpose - helping to keep resources in the circular economy while reducing reliance on primary aggregates.

And the finished product speaks for itself. Visitors to our stand were able to take a closer look at our full REMAGG range, including:

• Manufactured topsoil

• Sand

• Gravel

• Stone and chippings

• Pipe bedding

• MOT Type 1 and other blended products

Our products are processed and quality tested to provide a reliable alternative to primary materials without compromising on performance.

More than just recycled aggregates

Honiton Show was also a chance to talk about the wider work behind REMAGG. As part of UK Remediation, we work with construction projects across the South West and beyond to find practical solutions for soils and waste - from testing and classification through to remediation, earthworks, soil reuse, treatment and recovery.

That means we understand both sides of the process: helping projects deal with materials that need to leave site, while also producing quality recycled materials that can be put back to good use.

It is a simple principle: make better use of the materials we already have.

A great day in Devon

A big thank you to everyone who stopped by our stand, asked questions, picked up samples, talked soils and aggregates with us or simply came over for a chat.

It was great to meet so many people from across Devon and the wider South West and to see such interest in recycled materials and more sustainable ways of working.

And a big thank you to the organisers of Honiton Show for putting on such a brilliant event.
